Training for voluntary legal carers, authorised representatives and interested parties

As part of the "Gut geschult - Gut vertreten" training programme, the Working Group for the Care System is offering a training session for voluntary legal carers, authorised representatives and interested parties. The training will take place on 18 November 2025 between 18:30 and 21:00.

Gabriele Theling, an employee of the Workers' Welfare Association (AWO) and herself a legal carer, will give a talk on this evening on the subject of forms of housing. Questions such as "What does housing actually mean for me?", "What housing options are there in Bocholt?" and "Who can advise me on this?" will be answered. Topics such as special forms of housing for people with dementia or demographic change and its effects on the living and housing situation in Bocholt will also be explained on this evening. Another key topic will be end-of-life care. Theling will provide information about palliative care options and discuss questions about palliative care services.

The event is a cooperation event of the working group for the care system (care authority of the city of Bocholt, care associations of the SkF Bocholt and the AWO Bocholt) in the city of Bocholt and is organised by the care association of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt. The venue is located in the premises of the Betreuungsverein at Kreuzstraße 16 and is barrier-free. Participation in the event is free of charge. Registration is required by dialling 02871/2394563.
