School enrolment 2026: Letters to parents are sent out

In the coming week, parents of children who are due to start school will receive their enrolment documents by post. The information pack contains all the essential information about enrolment, an overview of the primary school locations with enrolment days and office hours as well as details of childcare options. Enrolment takes place directly at the desired primary school.

The city of Bocholt informs that the registration periods are scheduled from 6 to 10 October 2025 and from 27 October to 7 November 2025. Parents are asked to contact their preferred primary school in advance to arrange an enrolment date.

Enrolment must take place together with the child. The enrolment documents must be completed in full and signed by all parents/guardians. This allows the schools to check the documents directly and clarify any open questions in a personal discussion.

The open days are announced by the schools themselves; they are also publicised on the respective school homepages. This gives families an impression of the profiles, specialisms and offers of Bocholt's primary schools in advance.
