Traffic restrictions on Leopoldstraße

Leopoldstraße will be closed to traffic from Thursday, 22 January 2026. The reason for the measure is necessary tree felling work, which will continue until 4 February 2026.

Over the next two weeks, the city of Bocholt will be carrying out maintenance work on the trees along Leopoldstraße. In order to carry out this work safely and efficiently, it is necessary to close the affected section of road. This measure is primarily for the safety of all road users and to protect the labourers working on site from falling branches or tree parts.

The responsible Mobility Business Unit in the Mobility and Environment Department has scheduled the closure for the period from 22 January to 4 February 2026.
