Renovation of Kölner Straße begins

On Monday, 12 January 2026, the city of Bocholt will begin the first construction phase for the renovation of Kölner Straße. For this purpose, a full closure will be set up at the junction of Reygersstraße at the corner of Kölner Straße. A corresponding diversion for road users will be signposted on site.

The upcoming work marks the start of the comprehensive renewal of the Kölner Straße carriageway. In order to be able to carry out the construction work in the first section quickly and safely, it is essential to close the road to through traffic. The administration has drawn up a traffic sign plan that directs traffic via signposted alternative routes. Road users and local residents are asked to observe the signs and avoid the area accordingly.
