Moltkestraße: Temporary road closures due to fibre-optic works
The junctions at Moltkestraße and Reygersstraße and Moltkestraße and Yorckstraße are affected // Pedestrian access remains unaffected
As part of the fibre-optic network roll-out in the Bocholt town centre, road users should expect temporary restrictions on Moltkestraße from mid-June. Two junctions along the road will be closed in turn to allow for upcoming groundworks.
Road closures are unavoidable whilst the new fibre-optic cables are being laid. The works will affect the junctions at Moltkestraße and Reygersstraße, and at Moltkestraße and Yorckstraße. To minimise disruption to traffic flow, the two construction sites will not be set up simultaneously but one after the other. The entire project is scheduled to run from 15 June to 10 July 2026.
During the respective construction phases, motor vehicles will be temporarily unable to pass through the junctions. However, pedestrians will be able to cross the construction sites safely throughout the entire duration of the works.
