Königstraße will be closed to traffic in sections from today, Monday, due to construction work commissioned by stadtwerker. The work is taking place just before the junction with Neustraße and should be completed by Saturday.
Pedestrian traffic is not affected by the restrictions, meaning that it is still possible to visit the retail shops and doctors' surgeries in Königsstraße. Passers-by will be able to pass through the construction site areas while the contractors carry out the necessary work on site. From Boesstiege, there will be a dead-end lane for traffic travelling to the construction site.
In order to minimise disruption, the closure will be lifted at the end of each day's working hours.
