Bus platform A at Europaplatz will be closed during the summer holidays

Bus platform A at Europaplatz will be closed from 3 to 21 August 2026. This is due to the accessibility-focused refurbishment of this area, which will bring about a lasting improvement in access to local public transport. To minimise disruption to passengers, the work is deliberately being carried out during the summer holidays when schools are closed.

During the construction phase, NIAG bus routes 95 (towards Rees) and 64 (towards Wesel), as well as the R52 regional bus service towards Isselburg, will not be able to serve Bus Platform A. Instead, these services will terminate at Bocholt station for the duration of the closure. Passengers are asked to take the changed departure points and any possible delays into account when planning their journeys.
