New instrument carousel launches in November
Music School Programme // Enrolment now open // Taster session on 6 October 2026
A new 'instrument carousel' programme will begin at the music school in November 2026. It is aimed at children aged 6 to 12, and no prior experience is required. On 6 October 2026, there will be an opportunity to find out more about the programme in a free taster session, with no obligation.
The Instrument Carousel is a programme for children who are not yet sure which instrument they would like to learn. Teachers from the music school help them make this decision in a fun and playful way.
In small groups of no more than four children per group, they are introduced to the flute, double bass, French horn and clarinet. Every three weeks, they move on to the next instrument. The children are also allowed to take the instruments home to practise and try them out.
Lessons take place every Tuesday from 4.30 pm to 5.15 pm at the LernWerk (Industriestraße 1). Registration is now open via bocholt.de/musikschule. The monthly fee is 25.50 euros.
Interested children and their parents are also warmly invited to a free taster session on 6 October at 4.30 pm at the LernWerk. This will provide an opportunity to find out more about the programme, try out some of the instruments for the first time and ask any questions directly to the teachers. No registration is required for the taster session.
