Instrument carousel for children and young people

Music school launches new group // Registration now open

From October 2025, a new instrument carousel will start at the Bocholt Isselburg music school. It is aimed at children and young people aged 6 to 12. No prior knowledge is required.

The instrument carousel is a programme for children and young people aged 6 to 12 who are not yet sure which instrument they would like to learn. Music school teachers support them in this decision in a fun way.

A maximum of four children and young people per group learn to play the cello, double bass, horn and clarinet in small groups. They switch to the next instrument every four to five weeks. The instruments can even be taken home to practise and try out.

Lessons take place every Tuesday from 16:30 to 17:15 in the LernWerk (Industriestraße 1). Registration is now possible via the music school's website. The monthly fee is 25.50 euros.
