Advent concert of the music school on the 3rd Advent

On Sunday, 14 December, the Bocholt-Isselburg Music School invites you to a public Advent concert with selected ensembles. The concert starts at 4 p.m. in the LernWerk in Industriestraße 1 and admission is free.

With a varied programme, the pupils want to create an atmospheric musical mood for the Christmas season at the new venue in the LernWerk. You can hear the mini strings, the string band and three ensembles that are currently preparing intensively for the "Jugend musiziert" competition.

Performing will be:
- String quartet: Lotte Decius, Feline Niemann, Rosalie Sicker, Marie Krolle
- Cello quartet: Konstantin Castro Belting, Carl Müller, Greta Marschner, Vicktoria Querbach
- Violin & cello duo: Matilda Varone and Katharina Theling

The young musicians present Christmas carols, Caribbean-fried pieces, boogies and works by Handel and Beethoven. A rousing pirate piece is also on the programme. Music school teacher Tetjana Shyrina will accompany the mini-strings on the piano.

The ensembles will be prepared for the competition by colleagues Christina Schubach, Gabriele Nussberger and Christiane Schröder. Christiane Schröder will be the musical director of the Advent concert.
