Training for voluntary legal guardians, authorised representatives and interested parties

As part of the training programme "Well-trained - Well-represented", a free training session for volunteer legal guardians, authorised representatives and anyone interested will take place on 29 June 2026.

Marius Seidel, a member of staff at the SkF Care Association and a legal guardian, will be giving a talk this evening on the topic of "Advance Planning". Making advance arrangements is not a question of age and concerns everyone. The speaker will provide an insight into the legal options available for making self-determined and forward-looking arrangements in the event of an emergency.

The discussion will focus on how to ensure that one's own wishes are taken into account, even in an emergency. During the event, information and practical guidance will be provided on drawing up a lasting power of attorney, a care directive, a living will and on organ donation. There will also be an opportunity to ask your own questions and take part in a discussion.

The event is a joint initiative of the Working Group for Guardianship Services (Bocholt City Guardianship Authority, SkF Bocholt Guardianship Associations, AWO Bocholt) and is organised by the SkF Guardianship Association.
