Training programme for childminders and anyone interested

Expertise, discussion and fresh ideas on the topic of childminding // A course offered by the Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg Adult Education Centre

The VHS Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg is once again offering an exciting range of training courses this year for childminders and anyone else interested. Alongside the tried-and-tested information evenings on all aspects of childminding, the programme includes, amongst other things, %$First Aid for Children%$, dealing with anger, aggression and challenging behaviour in children in day care, as well as issues relating to child protection.

Under the title "Bringing Lightness to the Heavy", the session addresses a particularly sensitive aspect of educational work: child protection. The topic "Boundaries in everyday educational practice - between 'no' and closeness" also encourages participants to reflect on their own educational practice and to develop a healthy approach to closeness, distance and personal boundaries.

In addition, childminders receive support with organisational and business-related issues. The talk "Marketing for your own childminding service - an ongoing task?" highlights ways in which your own childminding service can be presented in a visible and attractive manner. The topic "Business Plan" also provides an important building block for successful and sustainable self-employment in childminding.

Children's nutrition is not neglected either; specialised cookery courses combine practical experience with expert information. Particular emphasis is placed on the topic "Picky Eaters" - that is, children who are particularly fussy eaters. In a supplementary talk, participants receive valuable background information and practical suggestions for dealing with different eating habits in day-to-day childcare.

Registration

This diverse programme thus offers both professional development and practical support for day-to-day childcare work. The aim is to provide new ideas and create space for discussion and reflection. Childminders and anyone interested in finding out more about childcare are warmly invited to take part in the various activities on offer.

Registration is available via vhs.bocholt.de or at the office at LernWerk, Industriestraße 1 in Bocholt.
