Production delayed: Family Passes 2025 remain valid for the time being

Due to a technical problem at a contracted service provider, the production of family passes for 2026 has been delayed. The city of Bocholt is ensuring that families and eligible persons are not disadvantaged. Therefore, the family passes from 2025 will remain valid until the new passes are issued.

To ensure that eligible families and individuals can continue to benefit from the planned discounts, the family passes for 2025 will remain valid until the new passes are issued.

The new family passes will be sent automatically by internal mail to all eligible persons once they have been finalised. A separate application is not required for this. In Bocholt, families and cohabiting couples with at least one child, single parents with at least one child and students whose main place of residence is in Bocholt are entitled to the family pass.

Among other things, the family pass offers discounts on an adult ticket for the water world at the BAHIA adventure pool. In addition, holders of the family pass receive a 50 percent discount on courses and other educational offers at the Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg Adult Education Centre, provided that the respective statutes or the VHS programme provide for corresponding discounts. Further discounts include a 50 per cent reduction on children's admission tickets for events at the Bocholt City Theatre and on the family reading pass from the Bocholt City Library.

The family pass is valid for one calendar year and is non-transferable. When attending the selected event, the family pass and a valid identity card must be presented to the respective institution in order to purchase the admission ticket.
