Webinar: Experience Europe with Erasmus+

Free information event for educational staff // 21 January 2026 from 14:30 // Cooperation between the EUROPE DIRECT Centres in NRW

EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt invites you to a webinar on Erasmus+ funding programmes. This European Union programme can be used, for example, to fund research or educational stays in other European countries, exchange visits and joint projects.

The webinar is intended to show participants from the education sector how they can network internationally, gain new impetus for their educational work or establish European cooperation. The EU Erasmus+ programme opens up a wide range of opportunities for educational staff in the areas of schools, adult education, vocational education and training and higher education.

In this information event, you will receive a comprehensive overview of the funding opportunities in the current Erasmus+ programme, information on the application and participation requirements, the support services offered by the National Agency and tips from Erasmus+ practice.

The expert for the webinar is Anke Wekerle, a member of the European Commission's EUROPE DIRECT Speakers Pool Team. She is a programme coordinator at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB), where she is responsible for the financial and contractual programme management of the EU Erasmus+ programme. She will be available to answer participants' questions and show them how to successfully plan and implement their own projects.

Enrolment

The event is aimed at teachers, trainers, educational staff and employees in educational institutions. It will take place next week on Wednesday 21 January from 14:30 to around 16:00. Interested parties can register with the cooperation partner EUROPE DIRECT Aachen via the link ogy.de/21-01-26. The access link to the Zoom meeting will then be sent by e-mail.

The event is offered by the EUROPE DIRECT centres in Aachen, Bocholt, Dortmund, Duisburg-Niederrhein, Düsseldorf, Essen, Gütersloh district and Steinfurt district.
