English-style indulgence: "Brit Pic" on the kubaai site
Free event on 21 June // Live music by Ralf Rademacher // Part of the Münsterland Picnic Days
The city of Bocholt invites you to the popular "Brit Pic" as part of the Münsterland Picnic Days on Sunday, 21 June 2026. From 5 p.m., citizens can picnic together in English style on the grounds of the LWL-Museum Textilwerk. Participation in the event is free of charge and does not require prior registration.
The Münsterland lifestyle will be celebrated with a special accent in Bocholt on 21 June. Together with the Bocholt Tourist Information Centre, EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt and the German-British Society Bocholt, the city council invites you to the "Brit Pic" on the kubaai grounds. From 5 p.m., the lawn in front of the LWL-Museum Textilwerk on Uhlandstraße will be transformed into a British-style picnic area.
Musical accompaniment for the afternoon will be provided by Bocholt musician Ralf Rademacher. His repertoire includes Irish folk music and well-known British folk songs and will provide the perfect backdrop for the open-air event. While the city provides the setting and the programme, participants bring their own food and drink. Food and drinks inspired by British recipes are welcome.
The event is part of the Münsterland Picnic Days, which take place annually around International Picnic Day on 18 June. Under the regional motto "I. You. We. The Münsterland celebrates picnics!", numerous municipalities emphasise community and enjoyment in the countryside. Münsterland e.V. is the initiator of the regional action days.
