Culinary journey to Cyprus

EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt and other cooperation partners invite you to a culinary evening with the theme "Cyprus" at the WattExtra cooking studio in Kaiser-Wilhelm-Str. 1 on Thursday, 7 May from 18:30.

On the occasion of the Cypriot EU Council Presidency in the first half of 2026, EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt, together with the Europa-Union Bocholt e.V. and the BELC network, will take participants on a culinary journey through Cyprus under the guidance of cookery expert Jürgen Taubach.

Cyprus has a lot to offer in culinary terms and combines Greek and Turkish cuisine. The evening offers an opportunity to familiarise yourself with Cypriot cuisine and gain European culinary experience. Due to popular demand, the European cookery event is held twice a year. The last cooking event focussed on Danish cuisine due to the Danish EU Council Presidency in the second half of 2025.
