Workshop: The garden as a photo studio
Photography workshop on 21 June 2026 in the garden of Susanne Paus and Peter Zweil // Tickets available online
The adult education centre invites photography enthusiasts and the curious to a special workshop: Under the title "The garden as a photo studio - deceleration meets creativity", a private garden known in the region will open its doors on Sunday, 21 June 2026 from 10 am to 3 pm.
Anyone who missed the open garden gate at "Susan Islands" this season and is interested in photography now has the opportunity to get creative there. Exciting perspectives, fascinating details and atmospheric motifs await you everywhere. If you dedicate yourself to close-up and macro photography with patience and curiosity, you will soon realise that the greatest beauty is often hidden in the small things.
Creative experimentation
The workshop will take place in Susanne Paus and Peter Zweil's garden (Im Osteresch 7). In addition to photography, the focus will be on trying things out: various lenses and macro accessories such as macro slides, reversing rings (for Nikon & Canon) and extension rings (for Nikon, Canon & Panasonic) can be tested on site.
Participants will thus gain valuable insights and decision-making aids for their own equipment. You are welcome to bring your own cameras, equipment and smartphones.
Registration fee
Participation in the workshop costs 46 euros, which includes drinks, a small snack and material costs. The event is deliberately limited to a small group of a maximum of eight people to ensure personalised support and a relaxed learning atmosphere.
Further information, including registration, is available at the VHS office in Bocholt, Industriestraße 1, the Rhede and Isselburg branches and at www.vhs.bocholt.de.
