Summer painting school in Bocholt: Places still available for young talents

There are still a few places left on the course for six to seven-year-olds at this year's Bocholt Summer Painting School. From 27 to 31 July 2026, young up-and-coming artists can get creative at the Kunsthaus.

The summer painting school, which is run in collaboration with course instructor Andrea de Ruiter and the Euregio Kunstkreis e.V., offers children a playful introduction to the world of colour. The first week of the holiday (course 1) is all about abstract painting and creating with a wide variety of materials for six and seven-year-olds. They will work daily from 10:00 to 13:00 on the premises of the Kunsthaus (Osterstr. 69).

In addition to individual works of art, the children also create one joint work per course. A special highlight: all the works created will then be exhibited publicly in the Kunsthaus. The city of Bocholt would like to point out that the children should bring a piece of underwear (e.g. an old blouse or shirt) to the first meeting on 27 July, as it will be creative and colourful.
