Photovoltaic system: information evening on the private energy transition

The Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg Adult Education Centre invites you to an evening lecture on private photovoltaic systems on Tuesday, 28 October 2025. The event starts at 7 p.m. in the media centre at Hindenburgstraße 5. Registration via www.vhs-bocholt.de is recommended. Remaining places are available at the box office.

The focus is on questions that many people ask themselves before purchasing their own photovoltaic system. Speaker Michael Birkhan explains which yields are realistic in the seasons, to what extent systems with an east or west orientation can be worthwhile and when a local energy storage system makes sense in order to increase self-consumption. Possible tax-free payments are also clearly categorised. The aim is to provide a sound basis for decision-making for the "private energy transition".

The event is aimed at interested parties who are considering switching to self-generated solar power or would like to deepen their existing knowledge. In addition to technical explanations, participants will receive practical tips on how to better compare offers and realistically assess their own framework conditions.

A fee of 6 euros (reduced rate 5 euros) is charged for participation. Registration via the VHS online portal is linked to a place reservation. Last-minute travellers can obtain remaining tickets - if available - directly at the box office.
