New grand piano for music school lessons
The Bocholt-Isselburg music school is delighted to have received a permanent loan for its premises in the LernWerk on Industriestraße. Rheder entrepreneur Wolfgang Hoeck (TEC-KNIT GmbH) has provided the centre with a grand piano, which will be used in lessons with immediate effect.
"Of course we changed our premises when we moved from Salierstraße to Industriestraße", says Claudia Borgers, Head of the Bocholt-Isselburg music school. In order to fulfil the capacities, there was also a need for more instruments.
An employee put the school in touch with Rheder entrepreneur Wolfgang Hoeck. He still had an unused concert grand piano in his business premises. "I am glad that the instrument has found a good use here", says the entrepreneur.
At a ceremonial handover, music school director Claudia Borgers expressed her thanks for the loan on behalf of the music school and the pupils. The classroom where the grand piano is now located will also be used for chamber music in future, said Borgers.
Before regular playing on the grand piano can begin in full, it will be tuned by a piano tuner. After that, the instrument will be available to pupils and teachers at the music school without restriction.
