Literature and music: Anne E. Zorn and "More Chocolate" at LernWerk

The great themes of life - becoming and passing away - are the focus of a special musical and literary evening at the Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg Adult Education Centre. On Friday, 7 November 2025, Anne E. Zorn will read texts by Goethe, Hesse, Rilke, Kästner, Kaléko, Brecht and other great authors in the LernWerk event hall from 19:30.

Their selection illuminates the entire spectrum of human experiences - from childhood and love to suffering and hope to farewells and new beginnings.

The reading will be accompanied musically by Karin and Norbert Lörcks, known as the duo "More Chocolate". With their songs and sensitive arrangements, they create an atmospheric ambience that complements the poetic texts in a special way. To round off the evening, all guests are invited to enjoy a glass of wine or water.

The event is aimed at anyone who appreciates literature, poetry and music and would like to be inspired by thought-provoking and true-to-life impulses. It is organised in cooperation with OMEGA Bocholt e.V. and the self-help group for the hearing impaired in the Borken district. Admission is free.
