Genzgespräche invites you to a "feature film for the ear"

Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg adult education centre organises special dialogue format

Art connects, inspires and opens up new perspectives - this is exactly what the "German-Dutch Border Talks" want to bring to life on Friday 17 April from 7 pm at LernWerk. The Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg Adult Education Centre cordially invites visitors to become part of this special dialogue format.

The "Grenzgespräche" stand for an exchange on artistic, social and cultural topics on both sides of the border - open, lively and approachable. People from the Bocholt/Achterhook border region meet here in a special atmosphere and enjoy similarities and differences.

"We want to create a place on this evening where art is not only viewed, but also experienced and discussed together", explains Karl Eller, moderator of the border talks. Which exceptional artist would be better suited to this than van Gogh: Josef Schoenen (professional speaker, musician, reciter and lecturer) presents a scenic reading with images and live music entitled "Film for the ear - Vincent van Gogh - A life in colours". In this way, an atmospheric acoustic-visual overall picture is created in a kaleidoscopic way as an approach to Vincent van Gogh as a person and painter.

Registration is requested for organisational reasons. Further information, including registration, is available from the VHS Bocholt office, Industriestr. 1, the Rhede and Isselburg branches or via www.vhs.bocholt.de.

The event is being organised in cooperation with the municipality of Aalten and EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt.
