Bocholt Culture Days: Puppet theatre with live music
30 August 2026 // 11 am and 3 pm // Market Square in front of the Historic Town Hall
As part of the Culture Days, the puppet show "Big Wolf & Little Wolf" will take place on Sunday 30 August at 11 am and 3 pm on the market square in Bocholt. The Neumond Puppet Theatre, with Christian Kruse, is staging the show for children aged 4 and over. Each performance lasts around 50 minutes; free tickets are still available.
The big wolf had always lived alone, under his tree, at the top of the hill. Then one day, the little wolf arrived. He had come from far away. So far away, in fact, that at first the big wolf could see nothing but a tiny speck…
This is a story of getting to know one another, of tender approaches, of togetherness, of growing fond of one another, of longing, courage and friendship. The book about the big and the little wolf by the French author Nadine Brun-Cosme tells us a great deal about friendship and relationships, and how they can grow and change us.
It shows us a multitude of reasons that can make our hearts beat faster: fear, joy, trust and togetherness. Join us on a journey out into the countryside, told in a sensory way with plenty of live music.
