30 years of VHS French course "Et si on parlait"

The popular French course "Et si on parlait" at the Bocholt Rhede Isselburg Adult Education Centre has been running for 30 years. The first 27 years under the direction of Patricia Laumanns and for the last three years under the direction of Inge Stroet. What was once intended as an experiment for learners who wanted to find their way into free speech after learning from textbooks has developed into an enduring and lively tradition.

The course is aimed at participants from level B2 who enjoy actively using the French language in a relaxed atmosphere. Discussions are based on excerpts from novels, newspaper articles or materials that the participants bring in themselves. This creates exciting discussions that not only promote language skills, but also provide insights into French culture and society.

This semester, the course will again be offered on Tuesdays from 9 September. Those interested will meet for 11 days in the LernWerk from 9 a.m., participation costs 64 euros.
