New waste calendar for Bocholt is here

The new waste calendar for 2023 has arrived: The practical overview with all dates concerning waste and disposal is currently being distributed to Bocholt households by post. This was announced by the waste disposal and service company (ESB). By Christmas, every household should have a calendar in their letterbox. In addition, the waste calendar is available at the recycling centre, at the information desk in the town hall and at the tourist information office. Street directory available online

In order to save costs and effort, the ESB is dispensing with the street directory as an insert this year. There have been no changes to the area classifications and therefore the usual collection days will remain the same. Anyone who still has it can continue to use the street directory from 2022, according to the ESB. The only new additions are five streets, which are listed on the cover page of the calendar. The street directory will be available online as a pdf file on the website.

Further information in the calendar

In addition to the collection dates, the waste calendar also contains other important dates such as the used clothing street collection, the green waste collection and the bulky waste exchanges. Under the heading "Waste separation at a glance", the back of the calendar provides information on the disposal routes available in Bocholt. Links and QR codes lead to the ESB's digital services. For example, organic waste bin cleaning can be conveniently ordered from home or while travelling. Yellow bins and paper bins can also be ordered or the quantity changed using an online form. The digital bulky waste registration replaces the bulky waste card in paper form.

Online waste calendar

In addition to the paper version of the waste calendar, there is also a digital version at www.bocholt.de/esb. The dates for 2023 are already available. The online calendar contains functions such as an overview of waste disposal locations and a "Waste ABC". A reminder function can also be set up via email. The calendar can be used to display the dates relevant to your own property, print them out and transfer them to your own calendar. After preselecting the relevant waste bins, the calendar is transferred to your own calendar by clicking on "ical Export". It is important that your own calendar is authorised for the transfer of data. Click on "pdf-Export" to transfer the collection days to a calendar that you can print out on paper or save as a pdf file.

All collection dates, disposal locations and services can be called up on mobile devices using the free "Waste app ESB".
