Successful Advent raffle in the city library

At the end of the big Advent raffle in the Bocholt City Library, the proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets were handed over to Dr Helmut Schepers, 1st Chairman of Tafel Bocholt e.V..

During the Advent season, the Bocholt City Library once again organised an Advent raffle for a good cause. Tickets could be purchased for one euro. These were collected in a large lottery pot and drawn daily from the beginning of December as "Advent doors".

The ticket numbers were drawn under supervision and then published. The lucky winners can collect their prizes from the city library on presentation of their ticket.

Proceeds go to the "Tafel Bocholt e.V." organisation

"It is important to us to support committed local institutions and organisations. I am therefore delighted that we are able to support the work of the Tafel as a local drop-in centre before Christmas with our Advent campaign," says Business Unit Manager Isabel Testroet.

Romina Raske and Elisa Rickert from the Bocholt City Library team are delighted with the great interest shown by Bocholt residents in the Advent raffle. The high level of participation not only made a generous donation possible, but also drew attention to the important work of the Tafel.

The raffle was supported by donations from local businesses and partners. Companies such as Arkaden, Schmatzepuffer, the Seitenblick bookshop, Café Sahne, Kraftraum Bocholt Boulderhalle, Alte Molkerei and other co-operation partners contributed vouchers, tickets, games and other attractive prizes.

Melanie Tenhumberg, Head of the City Library, was delighted with the renewed commitment of the Bocholt residents: "The response to this year's Advent raffle was impressive. We would like to thank all participants, sponsors and cooperation partners who made this generous donation of 1000 euros for the Tafel Bocholt possible".
