Additional green waste collection in March

The waste disposal and service company of the city of Bocholt is offering an extended service for the disposal of garden waste in March. From 7 March, an additional collection point will be set up every Saturday at the "Unter den Eichen" car park. Citizens can drop off their green waste there between 8.30 am and 11.30 am.

The additional service offered by the waste disposal and service company (ESB) is primarily aimed at households who wish to dispose of plant waste during the spring gardening season. The temporary collection point in the car park "Unter den Eichen" is available on all Saturdays in March. Please note that participants must unload the green waste themselves. Free acceptance is limited to a maximum of two cubic metres per delivery.

Certain types of waste are excluded from delivery at this point. These include, in particular, tree trunks and tree roots as well as branches with a diameter of more than ten centimetres. Topsoil, grass clippings and classic lawn cuttings are also not accepted. For green waste quantities that exceed two cubic metres, the Bocholt waste disposal company on the Bovenkerkesch is available as an alternative for a fee. It can be dropped off there from Monday to Friday between 7.00 am and 4.45 pm and on Saturdays from 8.00 am to 11.45 am.

This temporary offer in March complements the permanent portfolio of the recycling centre on Schaffeldstraße. This will remain the central contact point for Bocholt residents and will be open all year round. The recycling centre can be accessed Tuesdays to Fridays from 9:00 to 18:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00, while the facility remains closed on Mondays.
