How the programme works

The Administrative Informatics degree programme enables students to shape Administration 4.0 & provide professional support for official processes in the context of digitalisation. To this end, fundamental specialist knowledge, methodological skills and key qualifications are taught. The degree programme at the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Administration in Münster provides academic training. The following topics are covered in several stages of the programme :

  • Fundamentals of computer science
  • IT application development
  • IT management
  • Law
  • Administrative sciences
  • Economics
  • Social Sciences

During the degree programme, each module concludes with an examination. There are different types of examinations such as written exams, technical discussions, programming or term papers. The Bachelor's thesis, including a new colloquium, is completed at the end of the programme.

The preparatory service concludes with the Bachelor's thesis. After passing the examination, you will be awarded the academic degree "Bachelor of Arts".

Possible areas of employment after graduation

After successfully completing your studies, you will be employed by the City of Bocholt in areas related to IT, digitalisation or digital transformation.
