The Heat Planning Act obliges local authorities to draw up so-called municipal heat plans. This municipal heat planning creates a guiding framework for how the heat supply in Bocholt can be decarbonised, i.e. how heat can be supplied without gas and oil as energy sources in the future.
As part of municipal heat planning, it is determined in which areas it is likely or unlikely that a district or local heating network will be developed.
At this event, the city of Bocholt will present the draft of the municipal heating plan.
The heat planning is an informal planning instrument and has no direct impact on citizens, businesses or other institutions.
