Awash

Awash is celebrating its 15th anniversary and is coming to Bocholt as part of its tour! The Brabant band Awash play indie pop and rock. Captivating on a small and large scale, lyrical, fragile and with absolute dedication. They have played over 300 concerts, including as support act for James Wash of Starsailor, various radio appearances (Nachtegiel and Ekdom in de Nacht on 3FM), national and international festivals and a tour of England.

No hip hype, but a driven marathon. Not poppy enough, not real rock? But a sound that is reminiscent of the 80s and 90s with forgotten guitar solos, fretless bass, organ and the singer's vocals reminiscent of old CDs, and yet still feels contemporary.

But something has changed. By finally revealing a side of himself that has been hidden for too long, the new album "To Where the River Starts" feels like a debut. Several songs on this album were written in collaboration with American producer Warren Huart (Aerosmith, The Fray, Ramones).

Moonwatch

Moonwatch makes relaxed dreampop and mixes hypnotising melodies with reverb-soaked guitar parts to create the atmosphere of the night sky. Music for lovers of Slowdive or Warpaint. No standard pop songs, but an immersion into an adventurous flow of darkly hypnotic sounds and unexpected beats. Moonwatch can sharpen the focus from soft noise to crystal clear. You don't know where (where) you will end up, but the view is enchanting.

Moonwatch are a five-piece indie dreampop band formed in 2018. After two EPs and various video clips, they presented the album "Myriad Eyes / Myriad Other", recorded and mixed by JJJ Sielcken, at the sold-out Nijverheid (cultural free harbour in Utrecht) in January 2024.
