Study trip to Aachen and Belgium: On the trail of strong women in Europe

Together with EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt and the Political Education Forum North Rhine-Westphalia, the Equal Opportunities Officer of the City of Bocholt is organising a special women's education seminar. From 31 May to 3 June 2026, a study trip will take participants to the historical and political centres of Aachen, Brussels and Ghent. The trip is aimed specifically at interested citizens, entrepreneurs and women volunteers from Bocholt and the immediate vicinity who are interested in European integration and the role of women in this process.

During the four-day trip, participants will immerse themselves in the exciting world of women who have played a key role in shaping Europe in the past, present and future. The programme includes visits and guided tours of significant places that illustrate the influence of female personalities on European development. The conference fee is 400 euros per person and includes a comprehensive package of services. In addition to the joint arrival and departure, this amount also includes accommodation, breakfast and dinner as well as all entrance fees for the programme items. The trip will depart together on 31 May 2026 from Berliner Platz in Bocholt.

As the number of places available for this intensive educational trip is limited, the administration recommends early registration.
