Digitalisation Roundtable

The ' ' regulars' get-together on digitalisation, organised by the 'Engagierte Stadt Bocholt' network, offers clubs, organisations and community volunteers a space for discussion, networking and fresh ideas.

Each session focuses on a different topic relating to digitalisation and voluntary work. Afterwards, there is time for discussion and networking over light refreshments and drinks.

What makes it special is that the ideas come from within the network itself. Volunteers from Bocholt share their knowledge, experiences and practical solutions from everyday club life - in line with the principle: volunteers for volunteers.

Afterwards, there is time for conversation and networking over light refreshments and drinks.

The next date will be announced shortly.

3 September 2026_Regulars' Meet-up on Digitalisation

At the latest regular get-together organised by the 'Engaged City of Bocholt' network on digitalisation, the focus was on the use of cloud services in the voluntary sector. Topics covered included collaborative document editing, rights management and the rollback function.

22 January 2026: Social media and storytelling

22 January 2026_City_Regulars' Meeting on Digitalisation_4

The last 'Digitalisation Round Table' focused on social media, moving images and modern storytelling. Nikolaus Kellermann, press officer for the City of Bocholt, provided practical insights into the city's public relations work and, using specific examples, demonstrated how video content is planned and produced, and what is essential for effective storytelling on social media. As well as fascinating insights, there were specific tips and practical ideas for participants' own public relations work within their clubs. During the refreshments that followed, there was also time for questions, sharing experiences and networking.
