Goals
Since the Seniors' Advisory Council sees itself as representing the interests of all seniors in the city of Bocholt, public relations work is a central component of our work.
The tasks of the working group include:
- Organisation of public relations and communication of the seniors' advisory council in cooperation with the chairpersons.
- reporting on events and activities in the local press and other media
- Helping to create publicity material (homepage, flyers, emergency card, roll-up, posters ...)
- Design and maintenance of the homepage

Seniors' Advisory Council supports BBV seniors' page (05.2023)
Four members of the Seniors' Advisory Council's public relations working group support the creation of the BBV's seniors' page. They responded to the BBV's call for seniors who would like to regularly develop ideas for the newspaper and contribute content to the seniors' page.
The first senior page appeared on 26 October 2021 and subsequently once a week or fortnightly. At the end of May 2023, the BBV discontinued the page in the form known until then. The articles on the topic of "senior citizens" are now to be incorporated into the general reporting of the BBV.
