Berliner Platz: Further car parks to be opened

Due to the progress of the geothermal energy works at Berliner Platz in Bocholt, further car parks can be opened to motorists this week.

Berliner Platz in Bocholt is currently only available to car traffic to a very limited extent. By Friday, 8 May 2026, another strip in the northern area of Berliner Platz will be available again for parking cars.

To this end, the construction fences currently surrounding Berliner Platz and the town hall construction site will be moved. The signage will also be adjusted accordingly this week. Work on the geothermal system is due to be completed in the coming weeks. The administration will announce the final completion date as soon as it is known.
