Sports and culture action day on Saturday in Langenbergpark

More than 40 hands-on stations, a colourful show programme and awards for Bocholt sportswomen and sportsmen

Next Saturday, 13 September 2025, the city of Bocholt, together with the city sports association, city marketing and numerous clubs and initiatives, invites you to the big "Action Day Sport and Culture" in Langenbergpark from 2 pm to 6 pm. Admission is free.

"We are looking forward to an afternoon full of movement, encounters and creativity. The day of action shows the great variety that Bocholt has to offer in the field of sport and culture", says First City Councillor and Head of Culture and Sport Björn Volmering and cordially invites all citizens to attend.

Around 40 stations are available for children, young people and adults to try out: from bouncy castles, a bungee trampoline, parkour, surf skates and archery to capoeira, or creative arts and crafts and games. One of the highlights is the spectacular show by the Trial Motorsport Club Stadtlohn, which wows visitors with its acrobatic skills on two wheels.

The afternoon will be accompanied by live musical acts on the stage. This year, the city of Bocholt will also honour successful Bocholt sportsmen and sportswomen there.

Food trucks and stands in the park will cater for the physical well-being. Those who take part in at least ten hands-on stations can also look forward to a medal and small prizes - and automatically take part in the grand prize draw. The main prize is a high-quality bicycle from Hochrath.

"Just come along and take part - that's the motto! We invite all Bocholt residents and guests from the region to join us for a fun and varied afternoon", says co-organiser Thomas Boekhorst, Head of Sports at the City of Bocholt.
