Sportbox: Free event at Aasee

The City of Bocholt's Sportbox has moved to a new location at Aasee. Near the exercise park at Surferbucht, sports equipment and outdoor games can be used free of charge from the Sportbox. All you need to do is register via the Sportbox app to access the service.

The box contains various sports equipment and games, including, amongst other things, a shuttlecock and beach ball set, KUBB, skipping ropes and resistance bands, as well as boules, a sling trainer and Spikeball. A JBL music system and a first-aid kit are also available to borrow.

The town of Bocholt aims to further develop the facilities at the new location in collaboration with the surrounding sports clubs. The clubs will be able to contribute their experience and expertise; on this basis, the contents of the sports box can be adapted as required and better tailored to actual usage at Aasee.

With the Sportbox, the town is expanding the existing opportunities for exercise and sporting activities around Lake Aasee. This accessible facility makes it possible to take advantage of various training options spontaneously and without needing your own equipment.
