Photo competition for the Senior Citizens' Fair in September

In September it will take place again - the big Bocholt Senior Citizens' Fair. In keeping with this year's motto "Mitten im Leben und immer mittendrin" ("In the midst of life and always in the thick of it"), the city of Bocholt is organising a photo competition on the theme.

The Bocholt Senior Citizens' Fair can finally take place again - exhibitors can register now - and Bocholters are called upon to participate in a photo competition.

On Saturday, 2 September, the eighth Bocholt Senior Citizens' Fair will take place from 9.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. on St. Georg Square. The open-air fair has attracted hundreds of visitors in the past and this time the motto is "In the midst of life and always in the thick of it".

Up to 60 exhibitors will show their products and services at the fair. It is organised by the senior citizens' office and the demography officer of the city of Bocholt. Under the motto "Mitten im Leben und immer mittendrin" (In the midst of life and always in the thick of it), the fair is finally starting up again after a long break with a wide variety of topics such as:

• Maintaining health
• being active in sports and staying active into old age
• mentally agile - meaningful activities
• strategies against loneliness
• different forms of living and housing options

As usual, there will also be an entertaining stage programme.

Photo competition for the Senior Citizens' Fair

In keeping with the motto of the fair "Mitten im Leben und immer mittendrin" (In the middle of life and always in the thick of it), the city of Bocholt is organising a photo competition. Snapshots matching the motto can be uploaded until 19 April 2023. The best photo will be selected and awarded a prize by a jury consisting of representatives of the seniors' advisory council and representatives of the city of Bocholt.

The winning snapshot will then be used on posters, flyers and the homepage of the city of Bocholt in connection with the fair. In addition, the winner will receive a prize in the form of 15 Bocholt talers (value: 150.00 €). The prize will be presented during the stage programme at the Senior Citizens' Fair. The legal process is excluded!
