City of Bocholt honours the commitment of outgoing council members

At the last city council meeting of the current legislative period, the city of Bocholt thanked 22 outgoing council members for their commitment. Mayor Thomas Kerkhoff also took part in a council meeting for the last time.

On Wednesday, 8 October 2025, the last city council meeting of the current legislative period took place in the canteen of Bocholt Comprehensive School. For 22 council members, it was also the end of their council work. They will leave the Bocholt City Council at the end of the legislative period. The city of Bocholt would like to thank all of them for their voluntary work, their time and their commitment to the benefit of the city's society.

Mayor Thomas Kerkhoff, who chaired the meeting for the last time in his term of office, was also bid farewell. His successor Christian Mangen will take over the chairmanship for the first time at the constituent meeting on 12 November after accepting the election.

The City of Bocholt would like to express its sincere thanks to all outgoing members of the Council and the Mayor for their work, their commitment to the City Council and the specialised committees and their constructive contribution to shaping city policy.
