FW Bocholt: Traffic accident with three cars and a trapped person

At around 11:15 a.m., the Bocholt fire and rescue services were alerted to a traffic accident on Dingdener Straße.
A total of three cars with four occupants were involved at the scene. One person was seriously injured, two others were slightly injured and one person was uninjured.
Due to the nature of the injury to the seriously injured person, the fire brigade initiated a technical rescue in close consultation with the rescue service. Hydraulic rescue equipment was used to free the person from the vehicle.
The injured persons were transported to hospitals in Bocholt and Wesel.
In total, the fire and rescue services of the city of Bocholt were on site with six vehicles and 15 emergency personnel. This included an ambulance from the Wesel district.
