FW Bocholt: Traffic accident on the L602

On Wednesday morning, 26 November 2025 at 10:24 a.m., the fire and rescue services of the city of Bocholt were alerted to a traffic accident with a trapped person on the L602 junction Frankenstraße.

When the fire brigade arrived, it turned out that a traffic accident had occurred between a car and a lorry. A total of three people were injured. Two people with minor injuries, including the driver of the lorry and the passenger of the car, were given first aid by the fire brigade. One seriously injured person was trapped in the driver's seat of the car.
The fire brigade used technical equipment to free them and handed over all the injured persons to the emergency services for medical treatment. There was no danger to life. The fire brigade also shielded the leaking operating fluids against further leakage. The police closed the entire carriageway during the entire operation.

The Bocholt fire brigade was on site with a total of 21 firefighters and eight vehicles. These included three ambulances and an emergency ambulance.
