FW Bocholt: Road accident on Blücherstraße - four people injured

At around 2.00 am, the fire brigade and ambulance service in Bocholt were called to Blücherstraße in response to a report of a "road traffic accident with a trapped person%$.
For reasons as yet unknown, a car had crashed head-on into a tree. By the time the emergency services arrived, all occupants were already outside the vehicle. A total of four people were injured. Three suffered minor injuries, whilst one person was seriously injured.
The fire brigade initially assisted the ambulance service in providing first aid to the injured. At the same time, the emergency services illuminated the scene of the accident, ensured fire safety and contained leaking fluids.
The fire service and ambulance service of the town of Bocholt were on the scene with a total of 15 personnel and six vehicles, including two ambulances and an emergency doctor's vehicle. In addition, an ambulance from the Borken fire service assisted with the treatment and transport of the injured.
