Markus Feldbusch is retiring
More than 35 years of service with the Bocholt Fire Brigade
After more than 35 years of service with the Bocholt Fire Brigade, Markus Feldbusch is now embarking on a new chapter in his life. As he retires, the town of Bocholt bids farewell to a valued colleague who has shaped the fire brigade over many years with his professional expertise and reliability.
Since taking up his post on 1 October 1990, Markus Feldbusch has continued to progress through the ranks: from senior firefighter to fire sergeant, senior fire sergeant and finally chief fire sergeant. Upon successfully qualifying as a squad leader, he took on additional responsibilities and contributed his experience both in operational duties and in organisational tasks.
Markus Feldbusch was just as much in demand as a breathing apparatus technician and paramedic as he was as a deputy shift leader. His colleagues hold him in high regard as a practical firefighter who always kept a clear overview during operations and impressed with his organisational skills. He could always be relied upon - whether in the heat of the moment or during day-to-day operations.
His colleagues in the fire service and the town of Bocholt would like to thank Markus Feldbusch warmly for his many years of service and his dedication to the fire service, and wish him all the best for his retirement.
