Women in mini-jobs: Online seminar explains rights and obligations

Wednesday 23 September at 7 pm // Event in the "Women&Careers" series // Register online

What rights do women in mini-jobs have, and what obligations come with marginal employment? An online seminar on Wednesday 23 September 2026 at 7 pm will provide information on this. Bocholt's Equal Opportunities Officer, Astrid Schupp, invites all interested women to the event "Women in mini-jobs - rights and obligations explained simply!".

Mini-jobs are often seen as %$part-time%$ work. However, they are employment relationships that entail rights and entitlements for employees. This seminar provides an overview of the legal framework and is aimed at both employees and employers - regardless of whether the work is carried out in a business or in a private household.

The speaker is Dagmar Jeske, who holds a degree in public administration. She will explain the rights and obligations associated with marginal employment and will also discuss transitional employment, known as 'midijobs'. Recent legislative changes will also be covered in the presentation.

The event is part of the "Frau&Beruf" series organised by the local equal opportunities officers in the Borken district. Registrations can only be made via www.kreis-borken.de/de/veranstaltungen-gleichstellung.
