Online Talk "From women for women": From the idea to your own company

Women who are thinking about becoming self-employed or want to implement their own business idea can take part in a free online event on Thursday, 13 November 2025 at 6 pm. Under the motto "From women for women - From the idea to your own business", experts will provide practical insights into the path to a successful business start-up.

The focus is on exchanging ideas with an experienced entrepreneur as well as specific tips for developing a viable business idea. Andrea Severiens, start-up consultant at the business development agency for the Borken district (WFG), explains what is important in a start-up concept, what funding opportunities are available and how freelance and commercial activities differ from one another. Questions about economic viability and various forms of business start-ups are also discussed.

Participants will also receive extensive information material and the opportunity to exchange ideas with other women interested in starting a business.

The event was organised by Bocholt's Equal Opportunities Officer Astrid Schupp as part of the "Women & Work" series of events organised by the municipal Equal Opportunities Officers in the Borken district.
