International matching fair for students and companies at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences

Wirtschaftsförderung Bocholt, together with the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences in Bocholt, invites you to this year's International Matching Fair on 15 October 2026 from 10.00 - 13.00. The well-known event will take place in the foyer of the university on Münsterstraße.

The fair is aimed at local, regional and Dutch companies looking to recruit students for Bachelor's and Master's theses, internships, student traineeships or direct career entry. On the other hand, it offers local students a convenient opportunity to talk to the participating companies and explore the possibilities.After the successful matching fairs in recent years, company participation should continue to grow this year if possible. Attention, new time: For the first time, the fair will take place in the morning from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.

A strong co-operative partnership, consisting of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the IHK Nord Westfalen, the university's development agency and the Bocholt Economic Development Agency, underlines the importance of this event for the region, which is now in its eighth year and represents a win-win situation for all those involved. The declared aim of this platform is to enable active marketing of skilled labour and to promote young academics. The International Matching Fair offers participating companies the opportunity to present themselves to a wider audience and recruit qualified young talent. Catering will be provided by the university canteen, which will be open from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. during the fair.
