International career fair for students and companies at Westphalian University of Applied Sciences in Bocholt

The Bocholt Economic Development Agency, in collaboration with Westphalian University of Applied Sciences in Bocholt, is hosting this year's International Matching Fair on Thursday 15 October 2026. This well-known event will once again take place in the foyer of the university on Münsterstraße. Local, regional and Dutch companies will then have the opportunity to engage in informal, face-to-face conversations with students and recruit young talent for work placements, part-time student roles, Bachelor's and Master's theses, or to kick-start their careers. Conversely, the fair offers students attending the event a convenient opportunity to talk to the participating
companies and explore the opportunities available. For the first time, the fair will take place in the morning from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.

A "cooperation quartet", comprising the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the North Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the University's Development Association and the Bocholt Economic Development Agency, demonstrates the importance of this event for the region. The stated aim is to facilitate active recruitment of skilled workers and to support the next generation of academics.
