Collection dates postponed by one day // ESB informs about collection in the first week of January
Due to the New Year's holiday, the waste collection dates for the first week of the new year have been postponed. Emptying will take place one day later than usual after the public holiday. Entsorgungs- und Servicebetrieb Bocholt asks you to note the changed collection times.
As refuse collection work is suspended on New Year's Day, the subsequent collections this week will be postponed by one day. This regulation affects the collection of yellow bins in areas N and O as well as the paper bins in areas D and E. The emptying of organic waste bins in district 4 will also be postponed accordingly.
The waste disposal and service company (ESB) would like to point out that all waste bins must be ready for emptying by 6 a.m. at the latest on the respective collection day. This ensures that the adjusted routes run smoothly. All current collection dates are listed in the 2026 waste calendar. Citizens can also access the data via the waste navigation system on the municipal website bocholt.de/abfall-navi, which provides a personalised overview for the respective street. All dates and postponements are also available on mobile devices via the ESB's free waste app.
