Nice things and bric-a-brac at the bulky waste exchange
ESB bulky waste exchange on 25 April at Schaffeldstraße // Proceeds for "Helfende Hände e.V."
On Saturday, 25 April 2026, the waste advisory service of the waste disposal and service company (ESB) invites you to this year's first bulky waste exchange. From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., you can browse for exciting finds in the vehicle hall at Schaffeldstraße 74. The focus of the offer is on small decorative items. Waste consultant Petra Tacke is hoping for many visitors in a buying mood.
Over the past few weeks, the recycling centre staff have been on the lookout for items that are suitable for sale at the bulky waste exchange to ensure that the range of items on offer is as extensive as possible. The collection container is now well filled with many beautiful items that are suitable for sale.
The main purpose of the bulky waste exchange is to reuse well-preserved items and thus promote sustainability. The more items that can be reused, the better. The sale also provides support for charitable organisations in Bocholt. All proceeds from Saturday's bulky waste exchange will go to the "Helping Hands" association. Volunteers will be actively involved in the sale and will be available to answer questions about the organisation's work.
Volunteers will also support the ESB during the set-up and sale. Volunteers from the Child Protection Association will help the waste consultant with the set-up. The THW youth will be active as stewards on Saturday and will help clean up after the exchange.
If you have any questions about the ESB bulky waste exchange, please contact waste advisor Petra Tacke on 953-3434.
