Additional green waste collection in November at the car park "Unter den Eichen"

From Saturday, 8 November 2025, Entsorgungs- und Servicebetrieb Bocholt (ESB) will be offering an additional option for dropping off green waste. Every Saturday in November, a vehicle will be available for collection at the "Unter den Eichen" car park from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.

The collection point is aimed exclusively at private households in Bocholt. Citizens can drop off up to two cubic metres of green waste there free of charge. Deliverers must unload their green waste themselves. Tree trunks, tree roots, branches with a diameter of more than ten centimetres, topsoil, grass clippings and lawn cuttings are not accepted.

Anyone with larger quantities of green waste can hand it in to the Bocholt waste disposal company (EGB) at Bovenkerkesch 14 for a fee. The opening hours there are Monday to Friday from 7.00 am to 4.45 pm and Saturday from 8.00 am to 11.45 am.

The temporary collection point "Unter den Eichen" complements the year-round service at the ESB recycling centre on Schaffeldstraße. Bocholt households can also hand in green waste in normal household quantities there. The recycling centre is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 9:00 to 18:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00; it is closed on Mondays.
