Save the Date: Bocholt Trade Fair
Next year will once again see the flagship event for Bocholt's thriving business community
Bocholt. After a five-year hiatus, the major Bocholt trade fair - BOCHOLT 4.0 - is set to return next year at the I-Park business park. The organising committee, comprising Bocholt Economic Development and the City of Bocholt, in collaboration with Bocholt City Marketing, wishes to announce the date well in advance so that all interested Bocholt-based businesses can mark the date in their annual calendars today.
A slightly later date than usual has been chosen for next year in the hope of securing good weather and, consequently, a large turnout of visitors. The Bocholt Trade Fair is scheduled for 20 June 2027.
At the I-Park - the largest contiguous, fully developed industrial and business park in North Rhine-Westphalia - the full spectrum of Bocholt's businesses will be given a major showcase, as was last the case five years ago.
In 2022, despite the lingering effects of the coronavirus pandemic, the event attracted a very high number of visitors and saw strong participation from local businesses, with over 100 companies taking part.
Both companies based at the I-Park and all other businesses in Bocholt will have the opportunity to showcase themselves at the trade fair.
Companies based at I-Park Bocholt can, for example, showcase their businesses through factory tours. For companies not based at I-Park, there is the option to use exhibition spaces in the marquee, at partner companies within I-Park, or on open spaces provided.
"This huge, comprehensive "open day" is traditionally complemented by a varied supporting programme and major highlights from the participating companies.", recalls Ludger Dieckhues, Managing Director of the Economic Development Agency, reflecting on previous trade fairs.
All Bocholt-based companies from the industrial, skilled trades, service and retail sectors are invited to showcase their businesses on 20 June 2027. The trade fair's objectives for the companies include attracting new customers and recruiting staff.
In the coming weeks and months, alongside establishing contacts with the companies, discussions will also take place regarding potential collaborations with the business associations AIW and UVG, as well as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) and the District Craftsmen's Association.
Information on registration and sponsorship packages for the Bocholt Trade Fair 2027 will follow shortly.
